Window Replacement with Team Roofing and Remodeling

Windows are one of the most common sources of home energy waste. Air flows in and out, meaning outdated windows can significantly reduce the value of your home and the cost of your energy bill.

Whether your windows are broken or outdated, Team Roofing and Remodeling LLC will analyze your window needs and walk you through the entire window replacement process.

How it works

From first call to finished job

  1. Step 1

    Tell us what's going on

Call or send a request with your address and what you're seeing: a leak, missing shingles, hail damage or just an old roof. Photos help if you have them.

  2. Step 2

    Roof inspection

The shingles, flashing, vents, pipe boots and gutters are checked, along with the attic or ceiling where water shows up, to find the cause and not just the stain.

  3. Step 3

    A clear quote

You get a quote that spells out the scope of work and the materials, with options when there's more than one sensible way to fix the roof.

  4. Step 4

    The work and the cleanup

The job is scheduled around the weather and your calendar. When it's done, the site is cleaned up, nails and debris included, and the finished work is walked through with you.

What's included

Window Replacement: what we handle

  • Signs it's time: Curling or cracked shingles, bald spots where the granules are gone, a sagging roofline, daylight through the attic boards or leaks that keep coming back.
  • Full tear-off: Old shingles and underlayment removed down to the decking, so problems underneath can be found and fixed.
  • Decking repair: Soft, rotted or delaminated sheathing replaced so the new roof is fastened to a solid surface.
  • Underlayment and ice protection: Synthetic underlayment over the deck, plus ice and water membrane at the eaves and valleys where the climate or local code calls for it.
  • Flashing and ventilation: New drip edge, valley and wall flashing, pipe boots and ridge or roof vents, so the attic can breathe and moisture doesn't build up.
  • What to expect: Most homes are done in one to three days once work starts. Old roofing is hauled away and the yard and driveway are swept for nails at the end.

“After our insurance company denied our claim, Team worked with my insurance to point out the roof damage and get us the claim payment we were owed. FAQ

Window Replacement: common questions

How long does a new roof last?

It depends on the material and the conditions. Architectural asphalt shingles commonly last 25 to 30 years, basic three-tab shingles less. Good attic ventilation, sound flashing and clean gutters all help a roof reach the long end of its range.

What should a roof replacement quote include?

The number of layers to remove, how damaged decking will be handled, the underlayment, flashing and ventilation work, the shingle line and color, permits, and cleanup and disposal. Quotes are much easier to compare when each one covers the same items.

Do I need to be home while the roof is replaced?

Not usually. The work happens outside, though someone should be reachable by phone. It helps to move cars out of the driveway, take fragile items off the walls (hammering shakes them), and keep kids and pets away from the work area.
